| I Would Describe Myself As | I'm Mike, and I'm a geek and a loser but I'm happy with that, I don't care :) I'd say I'm quiet but easy to get along with, and more outspoken when I feel comfortable with you. I guess I'm a caring, sensitive and compassionate type, typical Pisces actually, which is scary considering I don't really go for that astrology stuff. And weirdly selfless, in the sense I like to make people happy even if it's at my expense in some way. I have absolutely zero self confidence, but nobody ever believes that, apparently I come across as being self assured and comfortable in my own skin...Hmmm. So not true. But lately I've come to accept who I am more, I think. I spent 3 years doing a BA Hons in Illustration (like Fine Art but less pretentious) and, as is the unfortunate tradition, I've ended up in a completely pointless job. Working at a garden centre. It beats being stuck in a stuffy office wearing a suit pushing papers in a monotonous 9-5 job...but on the downside our work uniform has rather a lot of gaudy lime green on it. And the tanoy music WILL drive you insane, it's pure aural torture. But, I get on with everybody, we have a laugh, and it gets me a wage every month so I can't complain. At the moment I'm on the hunt for a new job opportunity, and being encouraged in the hellish face of ongoing christmas preparations and trees being put out onto the shop floor. |
