I have a seriously twisted sense of humor, tend to calculate the odds of horrific events happening, and then picture them taking place in an absurdly cartoonish manner. I've often considered doing a webcomic in this manner, but then I started reading Something Positive and discovered that hundreds of people already do that. It was reassuring to discover artistic ability isn't actually required, but not so enticing when I realized how common it actually is.

When I get insomnia, I like to read encyclopedias and watch the Discovery Channel. Or watch music videos and celebreality shows. It's all about keeping a balance. I probably have enough random facts, both intellectual and pop culture related, stored within my chunk of gray matter to win any episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

The only music I'm capable of playing is via Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but I'm still obsessed with it and like to pretend I'm a rock star when I'm driving around. This generally involves singing louder than the music, and often also entails air guitar or drumming on the steering wheel. Though I'm strongly considering finally investing in a guitar and some lessons, so I can do more than simply pretend I can shred.

I'm a pretty liberally-minded person, but I do demand for all things to be grounded in fact and logic. I believe that choice is the most fundamental right granted by nature, in that everyone is born with free will. The only time I advocate the loss of choice is when one's choices will inflict harm on another.
