As stated earlier, I'm looking for friends and through that hopefully something romantic might come about (after getting to know each other).

As friends, I'm a very open minded person. You don't need to have the same religious or political views as I. Nor do you have to enjoy the same culture (books, movies and music) as I do. The only things that I wont accept are liars, thieves and back-stabbers.

For a romance, one that would work in the long run, a certain level of compatibility in beliefs and interests would have to be there. Not in any absolute sense, but lets just say that conservatives, religious fanatics and metal haters aren't the kind of people I would make a good romantic pairing with (friendship though can work).

ps... My apartment doesn't allow animals, but don't think I hate animals because I've got listed I don't have any. I grew up with cats and dogs and am quite comfortable with all sorts of other species (just not the highly venomous kind).
