Most of us, if we're honest, have a remnant of that 13 year old, the 'what do I SAY to this person' thing, no matter how old we get when we meet someone new! Unless we're one of those caddish types who just casts out their net and see what they drag in...Players I believe they're called! No thanks!

Above all am looking for like minded people but if anything should come of it =] ...and by friends I don't mean randoms, I mean people who I can talk to properly, go to gigs with and so on. But the above applies, I wouldn't really get on with people that didn't respect others or who act like slags. Have said before that though I have a top set of friends, many of them are at a different stage of life to me, so new faces would only improve matters.

Honest people; intelligent, with their own style of dress... geeks are fine, everyone has their interests that they are really into, creative people with art or music or literature would also be a plus...It's a cliché but good, dark SOH too...Alt or Ichabod Crane (the TV show) type. Am a animal nut, I have two rescue dogs and help get dogs from kill shelters in Europe and so friends who weren't into animals might not 'get' me...sharing of similar interests such as nature as am the only gardens/woods/mountains enthusiast etc and biathlon/winter sports fan, who's also a goth, in the village!(Football fans no thanks!!) So to sum up, people of like mind to me, it's good to make new friends!
